TUTORING APPOINTMENTS

Professional Tutoring (math and chemistry), The Writing Center, and Peer Subject Specific Tutoring services are available online. Select Peer Subject Specific Tutoring is also available in person. For additional information on these services, please sign into My Cedar Crest, choose Current Students, choose Academic Services then choose one of the tutoring options from the menu at the left of the page (or use links above). In-person tutoring appointments take place in the Student Success Center (back left) in Cressman Library. Please note that students will meet with tutors one-on-one, socially distanced and that masks are required to be worn during in-person appointments. Appointment confirmation emails contain important information including the in-person tutor table assignments (where you go when you arrive for your appointment) as well as links you may need to use for accessing online appointments. Please keep this confirmation email for your reference.

Please note that you may also access Smarthinking, which provides 24/7 access to online tutoring for the following subjects: math, chemistry, biology, physical science, business, accounting, Spanish, writing, and nursing. You can find more information about Smarthinking, including the Quick Start Guide, on the Smarthinking page on My Cedar Crest.

MAKING APPOINTMENTS

To make an appointment, please select from the available schedules (listed by Tutor Name) in the drop-down menu and choose a white space (available appointment) on the tutor's schedule. For example, choose "Writing Center SP21" or "Professional Tutoring CHE/MAT" etc. Complete the appointment form and schedule your appointment. You may sign back in, choose the same tutor's schedule, click on your appointment and edit or cancel it at any time before your appointment.

PROFESSIONAL TUTORING

Professional Tutoring in Math and Chemistry is provided by Kelcie Molchany and appointments with Kelcie must be made via WC Online. Professional Tutoring in undergraduate Nursing is provided by Tim Sullivan. Appointments can be made with Tim via Microsoft Bookings at: Tim Sullivan.

To reserve a collaboration/study room, choose "Collaborative Room Reservation" from the drop-down menu.
